ABOUT US
Sanctus Salutem is an independent 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit under Alaska law. Grounded in the philosophy and anthropology of St. Thomas Aquinas, it offers coaching, mentoring, education, and programs in classical philosophy, Aristotelian-Thomistic anthropology, and Thomistic psychology for human formation and personal development—to form the body, order the mind, and educate the soul. Committed to the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church, it is not a public association of the faithful, has no formal ecclesiastical affiliation, and is not subject to the governance of any diocese, archdiocese, parish, or congregation. Leadership and governance follow its own statutes.
MISSION STATEMENT
Sanctus Salutem, Inc. exists to restore and strengthen those who have been disheartened and discouraged by scandal, failure, disorder, and loss of faith within the Body of Christ. Grounded in the philosophy and psychology of St. Thomas Aquinas and guided by the biblical call to remain rooted and built up in Christ (Colossians 2:6–8) while being transformed by the renewing of the mind (Romans 12:2), we promote authentic body-soul composite wellness and the fullness of life through education, mentoring, mental health coaching, and research.
VISION STATEMENT
To see those affected by life’s mental and spiritual distress restored to vibrant, authentic life in Christ — their minds renewed, their souls deeply rooted in Him, and their entire being (body and soul) harmoniously integrated according to the wisdom of St. Thomas Aquinas — so that they become living witnesses of hope, healing, and renewed faith in the Church and the world.
FOUNDATIONAL PRINCIPLES
Colossians 2:6-8 “Since you have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord, live in union with him. Keep your roots deep in him, build your lives in him, and become stronger in your faith, as you were taught. And be filled with thanksgiving. See to it, then, that no one enslaves you by means of the worthless deceit of human wisdom, which comes from the teachings handed down by human beings, and from the ruling spirits of the universe, and not from Christ.”
Romans 12:2 “Do not model your behavior on the contemporary world, but let the renewing of your minds transform you, so that you may discern for yourselves what is the will of God – what is good and acceptable and mature.”
